Humana Pharmacy Solutions will assist with Retiree Drug Subsidy, a program that allows employers to receive a subsidy for Medicare-eligible Part D claims.
Medicare-eligible Retirees
Humana Pharmacy Solutions can help recover a portion of medication costs for groups if the employer has:
- Medicare-eligible retirees enrolled in the company's commercial health plan who aren't actively working or who are enrolled in a Medicare Part D plan
- Humana Pharmacy Solutions as its pharmacy benefits manager
The Retiree Drug Subsidy Program (RDS) gives employers incentives to keep Medicare-eligible retirees on their current commercial pharmacy plan. Under the program, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reimburse employers a percentage of eligible costs.
