How the Program Works
RightSourceRx Preferred requires members to fill all maintenance medications at RightSourceRx, Humana’s prescription home-delivery service.
The program provides convenient delivery by mail and potential cost savings for members who take maintenance medications, including:
- Diabetes medications and test strips
- Gastrointestinal medications
- Estrogen, birth control, and other hormones
- Mental health prescriptions
- Anticonvulsants
- Asthma medications
- Blood pressure medications
- Cholesterol medications
Members will still use their local retail pharmacies for immediate needs – such as pain medications, antibiotics, and other short-term prescriptions.
